What Do 8 Layers Mean?

The original 365 Blanket is made from eight thin, airy layers of cotton muslin joined together to create one soft, substantial blanket. Each layer remains lightweight and breathable, providing comforting weight without the bulky filling used in traditional comforters.

The open muslin weave allows air to circulate and helps excess heat and moisture escape, making the 8-Layer 365 Blanket ideal for comfortable, year-round sleep.

Comforting—Never Smothering

A King-size blanket weighs approximately 8 lbs, creating a cozy, hugged-not-heavy feel while remaining breathable throughout the night.

Made to Get Softer

Our proprietary pre-wash and softening process creates cloud-like comfort that becomes softer with every wash.

At Muslin Comfort, we wash with:

Use a clean-rinsing detergent.

Wash warm or hot on a gentle cycle
Tumble dry medium or hot
Remove promptly

Avoid fabric softeners, dryer sheets, and heavy detergents — they can leave residue on the cotton, reducing breathability and softness.

That’s it. Wash it normally — it gets softer over time.

Designed in California and responsibly crafted by a small, family-owned manufacturer in India. Shipped from our U.S. fulfillment centers.

Slight variations in size, weave and color are natural characteristics of cotton muslin. Minor pilling may develop with use, and colors can vary slightly by screen.
